In a world that often moves too fast, I believe in slowing things down.
The goal is simple: to create intentional elopement experiences where you can unmask and be yourself, without pretense, pressure, or sensory overload.
Relax your shoulders. Unclench your jaw. Soften your face. Breathe in deeply and exhale slowly.
That level of calm is what you can expect for your elopement experience, start to finish. Leading up to, during, and after, the goal is to reduce your stress and create room to enjoy every part of the experience.
Calm is a sense of peace and well-being, not a boring elopement day. It's the knowledge that your wedding day, something you'll look back on for the rest of your life, is going to unfold exactly as it should.
It's a cliff edge overlooking the sea, a mountain view, a mossy forest. It's a stillness as you share vows with your person and the world holds its breath, just for a moment.
Where do you feel relaxed? What quiets your mind? What stops you in your tracks and makes you feel good?
SENDING ME A MESSAGE is the very first step. The more info you can give me, the better!
From there, we can have a phone or video call. It's not required, but it's a great way to get your questions answered, get to know each other a wee bit, and pick my brain. This is a no-pressure call that helps us all see if we're a good fit. It also helps me make recommendations for you.
How it all works
The booking process is super easy. Here's all we need: a date, a location ("Washington" or "Ireland" are specific enough), a signed contract, and a flat-rate retainer.
Your contract is handled digitally, for ease. Once it's signed, you'll automatically receive an invoice for the retainer, also handled digitally. And then that's it, I'm all yours! For keeps.
As soon as you're booked, you'll gain access to my "How to Elope" guide (a manual full of the things in my brain), and a questionnaire that helps me get to know you, your relationship, what you enjoy, and what you're looking for. With that info, I'll create a Location Lookbook, a curated list of locations that tick all your boxes.
Closer to your day, I'll build a custom timeline that takes into account the places you want to go, things you want to do, the position of the sun, the best times for photos, and all the in betweens. All while making sure you have room to breathe.
Throughout all our time together, you're the ones in charge. I make suggestions, you make decisions.
You have me with you every step of the way; lean on me when you need it! Ask questions, send photos of your outfits, float weird ideas.
I'll also be popping into your inbox with tips, suggestions, and check-ins to see how you're doing.

The t's have been crossed, the i's have been dotted, and no detail has been left out. The planning process ahead of time is what takes the stress out of your elopement, and now you get to experience it fully without worrying about a thing.
You'll explore, breathe deeply, get married, and then end your day knowing you made the right choice in doing what matters to you.
Within days, you'll have a preview gallery of images to relive your elopement memories and share them with your loved ones.
Within weeks, your full gallery will be delivered, telling the whole story of your day. You can immerse yourself in the day with your highlight film, and flip through your album design. We'll finalize your album design together, and then you'll be able to hold it in your hands, a uniquely tactile way to relive your elopement.
"Rachel made my husband and I feel very comfortable in front of the camera. They worked their magic and we honestly can’t stop looking at all the pictures! 11/10 would recommend to a friend."

As a neurospicy person myself, everything comes from a place of understanding. I have several accommodations built standard into the experience, and I'm more than happy to work with you individually. Click to read about accommodations.
Yes with a boundary. Most couples do not hire a planner or day-of coordinator, so I step into that role. I help you pick locations, I write up a custom timeline for you, and I help keep track of everything on the day.
Unlike a full-service planner: I can help you find other vendors, but I do not book them for you, and I do not contract with other vendors directly.
Elopement highlight films are one of my favourite things! Photography is still my main focus, so I don't provide full elopement films, but I make cinematic highlight films that you can read about HERE.
When you book me, you get a photographer, planner, consultant, and film-maker. But I do not work directly with other vendors as a packaged deal. Every wedding is unique, and every couple has unique tastes and dreams. I want you to have the freedom to craft a custom elopement experience.
I do! I travel often and am happy to go wherever you want me. I also take an annual trip home to Ireland. Read all about Ireland elopements here:
That's totally fine! We only need a general location like "Washington" in order to get you booked, but even if you haven't narrowed it down that far yet, I'm here to help you. The sooner you reach out, the sooner I can help you sift through your options, offer some advice, and give you a few things to think about.
Elopements make up most of my work, but I also do portrait sessions (proposals, engagements, adventures) and boudoir photography.
I'm delighted you're here, my darlings. This is your first step to having the best elopement day for you. A day grounded in gentleness that makes it easy to relax and unmask.
The more info you can give me the better; my main goal here is to be on your side and really listen to what you're saying, understand what you want, and then make it happen.
