Are these legal weddings? +

In a word: no. Pocket Elopements are not legal ceremonies in Ireland’s eyes, due to location restrictions. I don’t want you to have to book a venue short notice.

However. Almost all of my clients take care of their paperwork in the States so they can enjoy an elopement day in Ireland without worrying about paperwork or restrictions! Not just for Pockets. It's only paperwork; not signing it at your ceremony doesn't make your elopement "less than" in any way.

Follow-up: can we still have a ceremony? +

Yes! There are several incredible celebrants in the area who can perform all types of ceremonies for you, including handfasting, oathing stones, etc. Highly recommend.

Can we bring guests? +

These elopements are designed for just the two of you. If you’re looking for something with more flexibility or guests, check out my full-service elopements!

What if it rains? +

Then we get a little soggy and a lot romantic. (Kidding. Sort of.) Ireland is moody and beautiful in any weather, and unless things are truly dire, we’ll be out in the wind and drizzle. I’ll prep you in advance!

90 minutes doesn't seem like a long time. Is it enough? Can we add more? +

It's not a long time, but that's the point of these cute little Pockets. If it weren't enough, I wouldn't offer them, because that would be rude and unfair. 90 min is plenty for a wee ceremony and some portraits, or maybe a picnic!
