It can be difficult to imagine yourself eloping in Ireland if you have no point of reference for what that can look like.
Pretty photos are great (says the photographer; I do have them all over my site for a reason), but if you want a little more, a deeper look into what your entire day can look and feel like, that's why I put this together. Daydreams need a wee jumping-off point sometimes.
Now. Every elopement I plan and photograph is different. There's nothing copy-paste about something so personal. But my familiarity with different places is what lets me tweak things into something personal; it's what lets me give you my best recommendations for what you want.
So this is basically that...at scale. Have a look, see what you're drawn to, start imagining yourself living these experiences, then hit me up and we'll make it concrete. If one of these makes you think, "that is so us," we've found the perfect place to start.
After years of exploring and photographing Ireland, I've found a collection of places that work really well for elopements. They're private, beautiful (obviously), give you that "quintessential Ireland" look you're here for, and are also delightful places to be.
(That's super important, btw: some places will give you "the photo," but you'll have a terrible time. We don't go to those places.)
You don't need to choose one of these places for your elopement; I've got more in my back pocket. But! But. They're some of my favourites, and they'll give you a clearer idea of what appeals to you and what kind of elopement experience you want to have.
