"Booking Rachel for our elopement in Ireland was the decision that made our entire wedding come together. We knew from the start of our planning process that photography was the most important investment for our wedding day, and we also knew we wanted to elope off the beaten path in Ireland.

Rachel put us at ease immediately and was patient and proactive in guiding us through the planning process and helping us find the perfect location for our ceremony. We felt like we truly got to build exactly the wedding day we wanted, including only what felt right and leaving the rest behind."

Full planning support

I don’t just answer questions, I anticipate them. You’ll know what to do and when, with simple, clear steps that keep planning easy (and enjoyable).

Rituals woven in

From grounding before your vows to small pauses throughout the day, ritual turns your elopement into something sacred.

03

Custom itinerary design

Your timeline becomes a story with a beginning, middle, and end, built with breathing room and flexibility to work with Ireland’s weather and moods, not against them.

02

Personalized location scouting

I walk the land myself—checking light, accessibility, and atmosphere—until I find places that fit your energy. Every location is chosen with intention.

What's Included

When the weather allows, I'll send the drone up to capture that sweeping Ireland view you came here for.

The dramatic coastlines, the rolling green hills, the ancient landscapes that made you want to elope here in the first place. It's about giving you that grand perspective, showing you as part of Ireland's epic scenery.

Why Choose a Compass Elopement?

This is when you get the fullest experience: time to do everything you want and enjoy everything Ireland has to offer, without watching the clock. You get both the dramatic clifftop shots and the quiet moments in between.

When you have a full day, there's no rushing.

We can explore multiple locations, wait for better light, or just sit with a moment that feels right. My couples tell me this is when they felt most relaxed, most like themselves. The photos end up feeling natural because the day actually was.

"Rachel will help you craft an elopement experience that honours and feels like you. From the start of our communication, Rachel was transparent, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented. The planning support, ideas, and recommendations that Rachel provided made our elopement much less stressful and so special."

booking details

Elopement planning begins as soon as you book!

Your date is reserved with a €1k retainer. Most folks book 6-18 months in advance, so once you know, I recommend reserving your spot. Rough ideas are good too, I can help you narrow it down!

I’m currently booking 2026/2027.

Some stories are more than a single day can hold.

The two-day experience is for couples who want the freedom to spread their elopement across two days. Maybe you imagine a sunrise ceremony on the cliffs one morning, and then a second day wandering through a ruined abbey, hiking into the hills, or celebrating with loved ones.

It’s not about doing “more wedding.” It’s about giving your story space. Space for the quiet and the wild, for presence and adventure, without ever feeling rushed.

Two-Day Elopement - €6900

What a two-day elopement experience might look like:

  • Day One: Getting ready together, private vows at a remote location, golden hour portraits on the coast.
  • Day Two: A handfasting ritual with family in a stone circle, followed by pints at the local pub.

(Or the other way around. Or something entirely different. Did you know you can take alpacas for a walk? Or go whale watching, rent some bicycles, take a ferry, kayak on a lake…)

The two-day experience includes everything from the full-day, just...more. Designed for couples who want Ireland in full: its moods, its landscapes, its depth.

Why Choose the 2-Day Option?

  • You want to balance time alone with time with guests
  • You want to explore two very different landscapes or different regions (cliffs + mountains, ruins + city, etc.)
  • You want space for even more ritual, story, and presence without a packed timeline
  • You simply want more of the experience, and the photos that come with it
